HAMILTON, OH -
The lockout is still on for the NFL; but, Kevin Huber, NFL Punter for the Cincinnati Bengal's in 2010 is keeping his focus locked in to helping the community. Kevin is serving as the 2011 Ambassador for Sojourner Recovery Services; a social service treatment program founded in 1984.

This past April, Kevin met with fans at Mercy Health Plex in Fairfield for an auction to raise funds and awareness for Sojourner. Kevin offered to have dinner and sign autographs for a lucky winning bidder; which was won by Greg Stewart of Hamilton, Ohio. The proceeds from the event went directly to Sojourner Recovery Services.

Keeping his promise; Kevin contacted Mr. Stewart to arrange for the dinner following his attendance at the monthly Sojourner Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, July 20th. After the meeting, Kevin invited Mr. Stewart and three of his friends for pizza and drinks at Richards, a local pizzariea. Mr. Stewart was treated to some football discussion as well as an autographed hat which was signed by Kevin and teammate Jonathan Fanene.

Kevin was appointed as the Ambassador for Sojourner Recovery Services for 2011. This year Kevin will be making appearances and bringing awareness to the need for drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. "Kevin is a great local role model and has been instrumental in assisting several charities in the Greater Cincinnati area." commented Mr. Keuffer, Development Director.

"I am pleased to Kevin's generosity and delighted he is working with us," commented Amy Erhardt, President/CEO of Sojourner Recovery Services.

Sojourner Recovery Services was formed in 1984 and began as a seven bed facility for single mothers. Since that time, the program has expanded to serve men, women, and adolescents. Sojourner strives to provide quality, comprehensive services for primary substance abuse and/or mental health issues to clients in a caring and compassionate manner.
